2004 Ranger no power to starter

My husband has an 04 ranger that is getting no power to the starter. He lost control of the truck in the rain and ran it to a ditch. The fuse box got wet. He drove it for 3 days with no problems except the windsheild wipers were acting weird so he cleaned the circuit bar with crc cleaner. Drove it around the block everything was fine. Went to leave an hour later and it would not start. We have check all fuses everything is fine. We have power to everything but the starter. Any ideas??

Try swapping the starter relay with another one like the horn or something. Also have to check the wiring underneath the fusebox. Is it a Standard Tranny? Could be the neutral safety switch.

check the battery wire that runs from the starter to the battery make sure there on there nice and tight, make sure your battery has power.... might have power to power windows and locks lights etc. but not the starter. Volt meter is a good investment.
