I just bought my first new truck, a 2007 Ford Ranger XL w/ 2.3L I4 - 5spd

and i would like gain some extra power and a better sounding exhaust system, even a header. Supercharged would be nice but i cant come across anything from borla, hooker, vortech, paxton.

anything would be nice, had the same problem when i owned my 95 F150xl with a 4.9L I6, parts are just hard to find.

Draxas used to make a header for your truck, but they've recently refocused on their FWD applications (Mazda 3 & 6, Fusion)

Try Summit Racing. They list several header manufacturers for a 2006 Ranger with a 2.3 .

Congrats. I just bought one today too. Mine is an XLT, but same setup. Better exhaust would be nice, for sure. Thanks for the possible leads guys.

i looked at summit and they only have stuff for the 3.0 & 4.0L V6s as far as the exhaust goes there is a guy that will custom make a full 2" system with the borla muffler i pick.

i would like to at least get some more power out of this engine to give it more go on the highway.

like a 6-8psi supercharger, if i could find one or have one fabbed up to fit it would be real nice.
