5.0 ranger stx, with what looks like a locking differencial, its parked at an apartment complex i work @ and has not moved in a good while, im not shure of the year yet "will look next tuesday" but this thing got 5.0 nameplates on the quater pannels, a big fat tac,fuel,and temp gauge right outside the hood bout where the vid # is.
It looks mean and im thinking of buying it or at least making an offer.
is there any serious problems known with this ranger?
its got be a late 80's early 90's model a short bed and 2 seats no fold up center seat. got 2 clearly aftermarket longstyle cats, runign a tru dual exhaust about 2'' pipes.
At first i though no way, then i read the tires
they were either 10 or 12 ply michlens.
its also got a tacky looking rear bumper.
and the nameplates that say 5.0 seem to be a different shade of crome then the rest.....
ther is a 5.0 ranger stx right?

Ford never built a V8 Ranger from the factory, but it's not terribly difficult to do. Hooker and Total Performance make kits. I've seen several, both 2wd and 4wd.
