5 Speed Tranny Question
I changed the oil in my tranny and transfer case, had 200K on it, just a precaution. I found a little aluminum in the oil that worries me. Does anyone know if this is unusual, to be expected with this many miles??? It seems to me the only place aluminum would come from is the case, which tells me there may be a bearing spinning in the case and that aint good. I wondered if anything else in this manual tranny is aluminum. ???? Any help is appreciated.
