confused 77 ford 409

Hey whats up everybody. I have a quick question to anyone who will talk back. I was driving my truck the other day down the road to me house and it just took off i didnt have me foot on the gas. Then when i went to turn the corner to the right my left tire was just spinning and spinning. I just put a new differential on and everything went great can someone help me and tell me why my left tire just spins. THANKS R3BELMAN

You say you put in a new Differential. Silly question....Was it a limited slip differential?

If you installed an open differential the wheel with the least traction gets all of the power. So it would be a 1 wheel drive then.

i have a limited slip but my truck only goes like 1 mile and hour and sounds like there is something snaping in my axle

Then it is not installed correctly. That would be my guess. Make sure everything is tightened down to spec. That is just for starters.
