Re: 91 ranger starts without key
I had a relative in England a few years back, who needed the key to start his Escort, but after starting, he'd be able to pull it right out with the engine still running. As mentioned, replacing the ignition switch should solve the problem. Just be sure not to tell your insurance company that you don't need a key to start the vehicle!
