I have a 92 Ranger that has started giving me problems yet again and I am seriously hoping that someone can help me with it... It started three days ago when I started my truck the gas gauge said that I had 3/4 tank. After driving only two miles down the road I glanced at the gauge again and now it said that I had just above 1/4 tank. Now today driving it down the road, after filling it up yesterday, all of a sudden I lost power and am not getting any fuel to the engine at all. What could be the problem with it? Have to have this wonderful truck running as it is my only vehicle and I have to work...

Do you hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds when you turn the key to run? If not, your fuel pump could be worn. You can have some one turn the key to run and off while you thump the tank with something to see if it turns on. If it does, you can start it but the pump will have to be replaced.
