93 ranger 4.0 v6 4wd 5 speed Stalling

Recently i have been driving my ranger more often and ive noticed very frequently i can be driving and stop at a light and the truck will idle so low it will cut off i can also just hold the brake rev the engine up so 4000 rpms and let go of the gas and it will again idle very low and eventually cut off.it's weird tho i can crank it up and it will idle fine until i drive then stop (doesn't happen every time but frequently)

Please any ideas would be helpful
