97 Ranger, heater blend door access?
I've heard there's a way to get to the blend door without removing the dash, where it requires one to cut their way into the duct near the floor (and patch it once done) - anyone know where exactly this has to be done?
I don't want to spend $600 for a mechanic to fix it (verbal quote), and I don't have the time or resources to DIY a dash removal.
The issue I'm having is that it's always hot, except when I turn on the AC (it seems there is a vacuum-activated bypass valve for the heater hoses/core), where it blows cold.
