when i back up only, and turn my wheel all the way in either direction my tires rub my wheel wells, or at least i'm assuming that's what the noise is. on the left side a piece of the well apparently came off. i think it's an extra guard attached incase you go off roading or something, because my 95 splash's wheel wells never went down as far.

just wanted some input to see if anyone else's ever has

My tires rubbed up front at full lock in reverse on the '02 Ranger I had before. Take it to an alignment shop, have them raise the front end about 1" by turning the torsion bars, and realign it. That will fix it.
