Question 98 Ranger O2 Sensor Trouble

My 98 Ranger is showing 2 trouble codes, one for the upstream O2 sensor (P1131) and one for an injector circuit malfunction (P0210). Truck has been running rough latley (especially at idle) and I thought a tune-up might help. After seeing little difference W/ the tune-up I had a friend use his code reader which gave me the above mentioned codes. What is causing these problems and how do I fix them? I am a new member and could really use some help!

Re: 98 Ranger O2 Sensor Trouble

my 99 3.0 ripped out it's rear 02 sensor about a hear ago (still waiting for a picture of wiring harness so i can fix!) and though i've had my engine light on my ranger it has ran fine (a little slow and with a "ranger rattle"). so, i don't think the o2 sensor is your problem though it is supposed to decrease your HP a little. hey if you could post a picture of your rear o2 sensor adaptor (the plastic connector about a foot up the wire from the actual o2 sensor) that would be so appreciated
