aight guys i got my 92 ranger with the 2.3, 8 plug. and im looking a some power gain. im not lookin to run 10's or nothing but i just want a little somehting extra so basically i was wandering what would be my best bang for my buck. -jesse-

Well you could start out with the throttle cable Mod. You just need a few zip ties and possibly a flashlight. Look at the gas pedal and find the throttle cable behind it, you should see a spring. Lift the pedal up as far as you can and put as many zip ties between the the end of the throttle cable and spring as you see fit. Just be careful because to much tension can cause the cable to break. I did this to my 92 2.3and the throttle response was greatly improved. I believe thsat I stuck maybe 2 or 3 in and didnt want to put anymore because it was starting to get tight. Over time the cable stretches, thus taking away your ability to fully open the throttle as quickly. Just try it and tell me what you think.
