hey i have a problem with overheating/running hot '88 ranger runs hot and will overheat if left to. i replaced the radiator and electric fan, thermostat, flushed the system. still running way to hot. so hot that water boils back into the resevoir any ideas??

Baffling, are you sure you have the thermostat installed in the right direction?

if u have the thermostat installed correctly, trying going with a cooler thermostat, if that doesnt work, theres a little whole on your neck of the water pump, take a look at that, if thres signs of water coming out, or looks like at one time its coming out, then the water pump is bad

thanx guys i changed the thermostat after checking the pump went to 180 degree therm. and no problems with over heating anymore no to the ex.manifolds
