my 98 4x4 is showing signs of wear. the paint on the front and steel parts of the rear bumper are showing a little rust. i want to remove the bumpers, sand them down and paint them. but i'm an amature at best. is there an aeresol that i can use to do this job?
how do i match the color?
and will the same paint work on the plastic trim around the fog lights? (which is very faded but suppose to be the same color as the bumper.)
Save yourself the trouble and buy a new aftermarket bumper, I have a 98 Ranger, removed bumper stripped it and sandblasted it, applied quality primer and paint, it rusted back through in a year, it is made from crappy recycled metal.
