changing front coils - Ford Forums

Does anyone know how to take out the factory coils in front on a 95 ford ranger.

jack it up, let the side you wanna take out drop as far as it will go, with the shock removed of course. Get some long extensions, its a 1 1/8" nut. Or go little by little with a wrench from the bottom. Whn you get the nut off, spin it, it will fall out.

Pretty cut and dry. Hope this helps.
