If the light isn't on all the time and your mpg is okay, I wouldn't worry about it. If it IS on all the time, then replacing the sensor is all you can do.
Since you have less than 50,000 miles, some parts like that are covered by the emissions warranty I think. Check your warranty book or the dealer, however dealers get paid more money by you than they will by Ford (for warranty work), so their opinion is not exactly unbiased.
