Check engine light has been on for over a year. Last year when I went to have car inspected was told that it wouldnt pass inspection because of code.He replaced the o2 sensor and was able to clear error code . When I left station in less than a mile light went back on .I let it go till this year when inspection was due and same thing he checked code and said it was
P0171 P1151.Was told that it was a upper intake gasket and IAC Motor he replaced and cleared code and was able to get inspection to pass. Drove car about 2 miles this time from station and light back on.
im at the end of spending money any ideas. only 83000 miles and car runs fine other wise.I paid alot to repair this but really not repaired at all.

take the car back where you got it repaired.they should run the codes again for free.most places have warrantys.if they dont i would be skepical.and sometimes it takes the car some driving to adjust to a new sensor.once it is cleared again it could stay off.but i would demand they they figure out why they fixed something that didnt need to be fixed if the codes are still showing up.
