I need info on how to remove a crank timing gear from a 94 2.3 4cyl ranger any info would be helpful

Its a 2.3L. I looked and couldn't find any info.

It's not too hard, the 2.3l that is in the ranger is similar to the one in my focus.

What are you trying to do? The whole timing, or just the crank gear went bad?

You need a puller like this one. Autozone probably has one available in their tool loan program. It also shows that same tool will also remove the seal. For installation of the seal, it shows this tool will be needed.

Install crankshaft sprocket.
