Hello All,

I am interested in putting a custom steering wheel in my 2002 ranger. Is this something that can be done? It has a driver's air bag, is this something that I can work around? Does the air bag have to be there by law? Any advise?

The airbag does not have to be there to pass a state inspection in PA, Ohio, NY, or any other state I know of east of the Mississippi. If you MUST have a queer steering wheel and are willing to sacrifice safety for bling, then go for it!

I would re-think this. It's only the interior looks, but will that get you anything? Spend your money on Exterior looks.
