Do I need to remove the tank to replace straps

Hello

My rear tank strap for my 95 Ranger needs replacing. Do I need to remove the tank put the new one in?

it isnt neccasary, just get ya ajack and a blovk of wood, and brace it up, then chang em out

How to I get the one side of the straps with out the bolt up and around frame, the tank is right up against it . . . id have to lower the tank? Do the fuel lines etc have enough slack?

one side should have a bolt, the other side, u have to twist and pull out, it has a slot that it sets in the frame, i have had trouble getting to the bolts b/c there inbetween the bed and the frame (no clearance) but yeah, the tank will almost set on the ground with the fuel lines attached
