drove with the e-brake engaged
Well let me begin this thread and state that I am a moron.
With that out of the way, here's my issue:
So I borrowed my buddy's truck today and out of sheer moroness I drove the car with the e-brake still engaged. You could blame it on the lack of sleep, or the lack of a e-brake light, bottom line is I messed up. I drove the car until I saw smoke and then saw that the rear passenger side brake was literally on fire. So without really thinking I pulled to a gas station with a water hose and hosed it down forgetting that pouring cold water on something that's hot probably would make things crack . . . So the e-brakes don't work anymore but that seems to be the only thing that's wrong with the car. What do you guys think the damage is? How much do you think it's gonna cost to get it fixed.
Any help would be appreciated and I thank you guys all in advance for the help.
Thanks,
Yuchen
