EGR Valve, air intake manifold
I keep hearing a little whistling sound, my code reader says that the EGR valve has excessive flow instead of restricted flow, what is the problem?

What year and engine?

It has a rattle sound all the time. It's a 97 Ranger with the 4.0 and 147000 miles.
