Question engine compression blowing oil filler cap off??

Hi
1985 ranger 2.8L V6

Pressure inside valve cover quickly builds up to the point where it blows the oil filler cap off!!

Is this a hole in a valve??
Intake or exhaust valve??

Dont know the set up on that car , but on others if engine not breathing correctly can cause it .Check if any crankcase breather / filter blocked or hose collapsing causing pressure build up .
