So i need a new exhaust for my truck the old one fell off!! So i need a new one any sites that are good to find one. 1999 Ford Ranger V6 3.0L reg cab. long bed.

I agree with Ranger Guy and unless you're a glutton for punishment, take it somewhere and have it put on. Most muffler shops will install about as cheap as you can buy the parts. Find somewhere to sell your old Cat Conv., I hear they can bring $100 to $200 for scrap.

If it were me,i would say screw the muffler, and go with a cherrybomb glasspack. Better air flow and sound. Even a smithys patriot muffler would work. The cat conv. should bring in about $70 to $80.

IMO, glasspacks are for old, carb V8 engines...If your truck is a manual, it will have that nasty crackly/popping sound between shifts or anytime u rev it up and let off the gas if its an auto...If u want somethin just for loudness then glasspack is the way to go....but if u want it to sound mean and decent, then flowmaster, magnaflow or some other similar brand name muffler is the way to go....but they do come with a price compared to a $30 glasspack.....About $90 for a Flowmaster part # 942041....Its really up to u....Just giving my 2 cents.....
