hello,
i just traded in a dodge dakota for a 99 ranger xlt.
I was hoping one of you gear-heads would know something that is puzzling me.

in the back (extended cab part) behind both the passenger and drivers seat there is a notch that looks like a cover could be pulled over and lock into place with these? any idea anyone? am i right?

thanks a bunch, I'm sure i'll have more questions as time goes on,
hey, one more. the abs light kicks on and off at random times. any idea?

You are correct.

There is some sort of pull-over cover that comes out from the back wall of the cab.

As fo the ABS, you need to hope that Autozone's scanners can read ABS system codes. Or just find a good brake shop that can take care of everything for you.
