freedie1 Registered User Join Date: May 2008 Posts: 1	ford chipped key I have a 2000 ford ranger and only got 1 key when i bought the truck used so i went to a lock smith and bought another key $75.00 but it worked great until today now it just won't start the truck the dome light dims when i turn the key i changed out the battery in the key-- no go-- will the truck start and run if i disconnect the alarm system?
