Front Pillar Trim/molding

Trying to change the heater core on a 97 Ranger which seems to mean removing the dash! Anyway we are unable to remove the pillar trim pieces, how do you get the area that goes down to come off, can't seem to get it to come?

Re: Front Pillar Trim/molding

"A" pillar trim should just come off with a good yank.
