Help please, I am trying to replace the fuel filter on my Ranger. Bought the line tools to remove the filter but cannot get the lines off. I bought the set of tools and none of them will release the line from the filter. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

They can give a person fits. What I do is push the lines in toward the filter. Then I push the tool into the fitting end and push pretty hard at the same time pushing the line towards the filter, then I pull the line off. It takes some effort.
Don't use the tool! On my '02, the clips that hold the line on actually push in on the side to release! Use a small flat bladed screw driver to push in on widest part of the clip that shows-line should come right off! Believe me, I just replaced the filter AND the fuel pump within the last month!
