I have an 03 ranger 4x4, and it now makes a gargling water noise at start up. you can also hear it at cold and warm idle, although quieter then it is at start up. no other problems are apparent. any ideas? thanks!
If it is coming from the heater core under the dash it is likely the first signs of a failed head gasket as combustion gas are forced into the collant so it gurgles as it passes through teh heater core.
