Custom92 Registered User Join Date: Sep 2005 Posts: 1	Grinding noise AFTER cold starts I have a 92 Ranger Custom manual 5 speed w/3.0 EFI. Recently I started getting an annoying grinding noise that lasts a minute or two after I start the truck, then goes away. It sounds like a low speed setting on a blender with some rocks in it. This only happens after the truck has been sitting for maybe 5+ hrs (in the morning before work, and when I leave work). I haven't noticed any changes in performance and haven't been able to pinpoint where in the engine the noise is coming from. Could this be water pump related? Any suggestions appreciated.
