I am trying to replace head gaskets and bolts on a 2000 ranger with a 3.0 v6 made 12/99 . There are several different diagrams for years close but no anything specific to this motor. Thanks for the help.
Torque the new cylinder head bolts in stages as follows:
1. Step 1: 59 ft. lbs. (80 Nm).
2. Step 2: Loosen the bolts one full turn.
3. Step 3: 40 ft. lbs. (55 Nm).
4. Step 4: 63 ft. lbs. (85 Nm).
