1993 3L Ranger. A few days ago my headlights went out suddendly then came back on a few seconds later. This happened twice on same short drive. No repeat yet.

Next day I noticed that headlights dimmed when I slowed to take a corner. Is my alternator failing?

We've had a lot of rain lately and I was suspiciuous that electronics in cab may have gotten a little damp due to rain intrusion into cab.

Put a volt meter on the battery while running. Should be at least 13.5V to charge the battery. Check connections and grounds. Does this vehicle have daytime running lights?
