Can anyone tell me how to fix my gas guage. I think it is the sensor in the tank because my guage tends to fluctuate on its own. almost like something is messing with the sensor. Most of the time though, it sits at E. but then again, sometimes it sits like a half an inch past F. Any thoughts?

I had the a gas problem but i just stopped eating baked beans.

To replace the sending unit you would have to drop the fuel tank. I'm not sure about rangers but it involves replacing the fuel pump as its in the same unit i think.
