I need a new frame

I got under the truck today and found the frame almost completely broke right behind the front right spring/shock mount. I'm looking for a replacement frame. I have a 94 2wd 3.0l reg cab 6 bed. Will other frames fit? I did a search in here but did not find anything.

Might look for a donor truck, don't forget Mazdas, same truck, different badge.

Ever notice that there's so many high performance parts available for GM products?

Did you ever think that maybe they NEED them?

I'm going to look to replace the truck. Do the 98 up hold up better?

Really depends on history and location. Hear in pstate NY, if you don't run it through the car wash on a regular basis in the winter, the salt will take it away in a very short period of time.

Re: I need a new frame

I was talking to someone with experience fixing frames he said "put a patch on there" now I need a piece of 3/16 steel.

Re: I need a new frame

I'm not sure I'd trust that route. What's the rest of the truck look like? YouTube is full of videos of people trying to save a buck and having bad results.
