Every so often, I try to start my truck, cranks but no ignition. Take the Key out, hold it a foot or two away and re-insert it; the truck starts. Is this a problem with the chip in the key or the the truck ?

Is that the only key it happens with? Have you tried any other keys?

Yes, I have a second key... will use that for a while and see if the same issue crops up. Just hope the problem is not in the receiver electronics in the truck. Maybe I'm not holding my tounge just right.
