ignition timing on 94 ranger 3.0 v6

Does anybody know how to time a 94 ranger with 3.0 v6. Is there any wires I have to unplug to time it?

Re: ignition timing on 94 ranger 3.0 v6

Base Ignition Timing Procedure:
1. Set timing with engine warmed up at curb idle.
2. Open the SPOUT connector located near the dis-
tributor.
Base timing is 10º.
