astults Registered User Join Date: Jul 2009 Posts: 1	leveling kit I bought a new Ranger 4 WD just 3 weeks ago. I decided to have a leveling kit installed because it seemed the stock clearance was pretty low. After having the installation the mechanic recommended I get a front end alignment. The alignment guy gave me about a 10 minute discourse on why I never should have done it. He said the engineering of the Ranger front end doesn't work well with lift kits and I will lose about a third of the longevity on this front end because of the stresses applied by the leveling kit. Is this true?
