Lightning Bolt

I don't understand why ford hasn't "redone" the ranger yet. best selling compact truck, and soon it won't be because people will get tired of the ruff riding platform it is on. anyways, I have a ranger that will soon be stuff with a 351. I think it would be bad ass if ford would make the lightning bolt a reality.
make it a little bigger, a little wider, and it would be perfect to except a 4.6. it would be sweet to have a dohc 4.6, but i'd even take the mustang gt 300hp engine in a ranger. it would be easy as hell to mod. chip, and a blower.
that's all it would need to smoke alot of cars out there. maybe i'm the only one to think it would rock. But i say F*ck the adrenalin, who wants an all-wheel drive 4 door truck, when you could have the rear drive muscle with less weight, and doesn't look like a family truck.

let me know

Re: Lightning Bolt

I couldent agree more, however few ppl "ususaly just enthusiasts, and smart ppl" will buy more than 1 of the same veichle so to ford it might not matter.
They kept it simple cheap and reliable, thats why its the best selling compact truck. At leats i think so.
In my opinion nothing feels better than to pull up next to a ricer in a veichle that ppl are usta seeing putt along real slow, by no means a fast car.
Then burry, launch, enjoy.
God i love it

btw arent the 302's in alot of the econolines?
