I recently got a used 2004 Ranger XLT ext. cab and am looking to add a few mods onto the truck, to give it a louder and meaner sound/look. So far I'm thinking a cold air intake and a new exhaust system. I'm open to any ideas and opinions on what you guys think. Cheap is always nice, but I know that if I want good quality, you gotta pay up sometimes. Thanks already guys.

u can do underdrive pullies for like 200 us, the air intake and exuast are the easy ones. then you can p&p you heads. get a sct-x2 turner. it all depends on what you want.

also to give the truck a nice mean look put some big wide radials on....make them stick out of your fenders a little bit to give it that mean look...i did this to my 1998 Ranger XLT ext. cab and it looks really good...i also have the solid centerlines all the way around.

also headers from JBA or Gibson, I wouldnt mess with the cats cause they are already high flow ones if u see a high flow cat online it wont do much justice, maybe an Ecape TB. and all the rest stated above, dont know what to say about style wise, cause one is unto his own

you can add roller rockers. do a hot water bypass mod on the intake.
