afton Registered User Join Date: Oct 2005 Posts: 1	need help with my differential my rear end on my for 1997 ranger 2.3L was knocking every time i shifted in to gear i had just bought this truck so i too off the differential cover and there was metal flakes in the oil. i need to know what all parts i need to rebuild the differential any help would be appreciated thanks
