Need water pump replacement help....

Vehicle....
2003 3.0 Edge Automatic with 106k

Problem...
Loosing coolant through water pump weep hole. Pretty steady flow.

Took a lot a part and I'm stumped with the fan removal. How to do I hold the pulley still while I turn the the fan nut from the water pump?

Thanks in advance.

wedge a screwdriver between the shaft and the head of a bolt and loosen the others. They shouldn't be that tight. Sort of like shown in photo below.

or leave belt in place and crack them all loose and then use this technique to tighten them back up ... sometimes i would put belt over the pulley and have a helper there to be under vehicle or off to the side and pull on belt tight to hold pulley in place while cracking bolts loose
