OBD1 to OBD2
my son wrecked his 96 ranger(totaled). it has a great 2.3 4cyl and 5 speed. we found a perfect 92 ford ranger 2.3 4cyl and 5 speed, but this one needs the motor(rod through block). both have the 8 spark plug motor, but the 96 is OBD2 diagnostics and the 92 is OBD1 diagnostics. what all will need to be changed out from one to the other to put the motor into the 92? both are xlt trim with the full factory guage package and so on. any help will be appreciated!!
