My parking brake light is sporadically coming on and off. The best I can tell it only comes on when accelerating in 2nd or 3rd gear...maybe 1st every once in a while.

When in other gears or cruising/regular braking, there is no problem...only when I come to a stop and then accelerate through those gears.

Is there a sensor somewhere that is telling me something is bad or needs a repair? I am at a loss for this one!

Mabe it's low on brake fluid. Thew switch is sensitive an uses the same light.

Mine doesn't light up when I set the park brake. Really confuses people when they try to drive my truck and can't figure out why they aren't going anywhere :p

It will *sometimes* light up when I set the park break though. Like, 1/100. Doesn't light when I do a bulb test either.
