Hello I own a 98 ford ranger & I have a problem with the air vent control. I turn the air on & go to switch the position on the switch to blow in to you feet or font & feet or ect, it does not switch it always blows on the defrosters. Has anyone head to deal with this problem. How do you fix it? Any info or detail will be very helpful please.
There's a vacuum leak in the system in most cases like that. Check the vacuum lines, check valve and reservoir under the hood and the lines under the dash to the controls.
