I am looking to replace my am fm cd and cassette factory radio with an aftermarket head unit. My wife bought me an am fm cd and cassette double din radio with a fold down face for my birthday can anyone please tell me the size of the Ford radio is it a din , din&1/2 or a double din? or give me the measurements of the cavity that the radio fits in so I know if it would fit I have a 2001 Ford Ranger 4x4 cab and 1/2 with 4 doors with an automatic transmition and I have not installed it because it looks way too large for the opening any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks Dean

Dean...you may want to go to the Crutchfield website. They sell a hell of lot a radios. You can probably pick up the phone number off the site and talk to one of their sales people and they may be able to answer your questions. It's worth a shot. Good luck.
