Hello all,

I have an '03 Ranger 3.0 V6 and I read that Ford increased the horsepower from 148 to 154. I work at a Ford dealership and I pulled the information and it shows 154 hp. The '01 and '02 showed 148. When I looked at the brochure. for the '03, it says 148! What gives? And to top it off, the 2004 model shows 148 again. Does anybody know?

Obviously that switch to 5w-20 oil picked up 6 hp. (j/k)

Actually, I used 5W20 in my '01 Ranger too. It had the I4.
