I have a 99 ford ranger short bed stepside single cab with the 2.5 4 banger and 5 speed transmission i am about to put a 302 in it, has anyone else done this or done a 302 because im not real sure on the setup i want to do it is going to be used for street/strip, im going to run nitrous and its going to be carb. i dont want a real gas hog looking for 12-15 miles on the highway but im going to get two carbs one for casual and one for the track so if anybody has any suggestions please let me know

Re: Ranger v8 conversion

thats going to be alot of cutting of the fire wall even on a v6 ranger u still need to cut the firewall and the drive shaft. the rewelding of the engine mounts in the engine bay. Its alot of work.
