Hey all,
this is my first post here and I'm hoping someone can help me out...I"m looking to mount a switchbox on the bottom of my dash, but the cup holder on the floor is in the way...does anyone know how to remove it (w/o breaking it preferably).

I've looked all over the damn thing for screws or 1/4 turn plastic locking things, but I can't seem to find anything anywhere...anyone have any ideas? Or know where I can find them atleast? Thanks in advance!!

Sorry about that..one would think I'd atleast include the required info...it's an Automatic. I had read online about doing the manual ones, lifting up the rubber housing, but it's an automatic... Anything else I left out?

if ur worried about degrading value of vechile heres what to do, remove the whole thing, go to a junk yard get 1 close to it, clean it up, cut it up as needed and mount it on leaving the stock 1 in ur garage r w/e

Thats what i'm trying to do...but w/o breaking it. If there isn't a way to remove it w/o breaking it then so be it, I can just rip it out...I'd just prefer to remove it w/o breaking it. Thats all.

i got a look at 1 today outa a manual and it shows that theres those lil plastic grip things, that have teeth, and scrues go through the middle, kinda like rivits, but there is a way to take it off, its proly just really good on there,
