Right Upper Ball Joint Bolt/Plates Placement

I'm changing the upper ball joints on my 1999 Ford Ranger, V6 3.0, 2WD, with coil suspension. On the passenger side, I inadvertently mixed up the bolts and plates that support and tighten the upper control arm. One of the plates says GB and has a white mark across the top. The other is labeled EB and has a pink mark across the top. They should not be interchangeable as the hole in each plate is offset and will shift the bolt further to the left or right depending on which side you place it. Fortunately, each bolt only fits one plate, I just have to figure out what set goes on the left (rear) and which goes on the right (front). Anyone know how these are supposed to go?

That's how it's aligned from the factory. If you have it aligned, they'd take them out anyway.

Thanks for your reply, but I am confused to your answer. I'm trying to figure out which goes on the left and which goes on the right. If I get them reversed, the offset will be incorrectly aligned. Are you saying the alignment place will fix it if I get it reversed?

That's how it's done at the factory. Whatever the needs are, the plate is installed in that location.
