running problem

last month got a 06 ranger sport- no problems except at 650 miles I was driving along rather slowly and it began missing BAD and like it was in first gear running on one cylinder- I pulled over and put it in park- then down to drive again- then it ran fine and no hint of any problem with 800 miles on it now- I wonder what happened and if it is a vision of things to come

Re: running problem

Sounds like something I would get checked out. With only 800 miles it is still under warranty. Even if you take it in and they can't find anything wrong, atleast you will be on record with your problem so that if that little hiccup is a hint for things to come, you might have better luck
